So, this past week I spent a little over 18 hours in the Maryland room of the Enoch Pratt Free Library. I went through every vertical file entitled "Artscape," and a few files from the earlier "Baltimore Arts Festival." I was so relieved to see that the Library had copies and pamphlets of the first Artscape. When I first talked with Jeff the Librarian he had expressed some concern saying we might not be able to locate articles mentioning the first Artscape since the Library is missing Baltimore Sun articles from the 1950s-80s. I took a few pictures of my Artscape researching “adventure.”
Wow, you did a great job! It seems that you found lots of good materials. Taking notes is a great idea. I like to do that too. It is a time saver. Plus, I make copies of the materials that I know will be useful for the project in order to avoid a double work.
